Members of PACNY understand the impact of their profession. Services provided by members can have a profound impact on the welfare, health and safety of all people. Therefore, members must agree with and adhere to stringent standards of conduct which prohibit fraudulent, dishonest and unethical business practices and behaviors.

CODE OF ETHICS
Code of Professional Ethics and Conduct
Members of PACNY understand the impact of their profession. Services provided by members can have a profound impact on the welfare, health and safety of all people. Therefore, members must agree with and adhere to stringent standards of conduct which prohibit fraudulent, dishonest and unethical business practices and behaviors.
To this end, all members and employees of members shall:
- Hold paramount the health, safety and welfare of all people, to include the public and member employees.
- Adhere to and comply with applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Perform services responsibly and within areas of their competence, with honesty and integrity.
- Ensure that employees behave in a manner consistent with the stated goals of their company. The company’s stated goals shall not be in conflict with any part of the PACNY BYLAWS.
- Issue statements in an objective and truthful manner.
- Deal fairly with their clients, competitors, vendors and employees.
- Act as a faithful agent of their clients and avoid conflicts of interest.
- Foster reputations on the merit of their services alone.
- Conduct business in such a manner as to uphold, maintain and improve the honor, integrity and dignity of the profession and membership.
- Actions that may violate the Code of Professional Ethics and Conduct shall be investigated by the Board of Directors. Any requisite discipline shall be administered in conformance with Article VIII of the PACNY BYLAWS.
